Indre Balnionyte appointed for Armenia vs Georgia WU20 #livestreamalert

We are very happy to see our Lithuanian referee friend Indre Balnionyte take stage for the U20 women B division clash between Armenia and Georgia today. Indre is one of the early members of our community and will open her first European Championship (last summer only challengers as you might remember) in company of Tomas Langowski from Poland and Nikolaos Tziopanos from Greece. Weiwers steps in to the light at 14.15 #Livestreamalert

In Skopje Macedonia the U20 women division B tip off today and it’s an interesting tournament as well. Luxemburg community member Lynn Weiwers in the crew for the opening game between Greece and Albania at 14.15 later today. Amalia Marchis from Romania headlines the crew as the crew chief while Martin Kucirek from Czechia makes it a trio.

Belousova back in business #streamalert

Our Latvian friend Anna Belousova started her FIBA career in november 2019. Not very long after that first game the world went a little bit crazy (to put it in careful words).. In ’21 she got ‘the greatest nomination of her life as she put in fabulous wording on her instagram account @annareferee. Now she’s back with FIBA for the U20 Europeans. Today she will be part of the crew for Hungary versus Czech Republic. Martin Horozov is the crewchief and Jose Pedroso is the last but not the least member of the trio. Coanus tips of FIBA career with Serbia WU20 vs Latvia today at 13.00 #streamalert

Our French community member Laura Coanus (center on the picture left) will tip off her FIBA career today with the WU20 clash Serbia versus Latvia at the Europeans in Sopron. Yana takes court

Posts on this website featuring Kazach referee Yana Nikogossian always turn in lots of traffic, so we assume you guys are fans. For all the followers who are, or are just in for a nice match on the U17 worldcup that is currently taking place in Spain: she will be in the crew from the Egypt vs Poland encounter. Poland is currently 2nd in group D with a .500 record, while Egypt lost both games. Crewchief for the match is Gatis Salis (Latvia) while Arnau Padros Feliu (Spain) will complete the crew. The great thing about 3po is , besides the obvious 2 friends on your court with you is better than one friend on your court, that more eyes will see more. As a refereeteam you’ll notice that in 3po you’ll have more time to decide what’s an infraction on the rules and what is not. Not to mention the better angles.  A big if in all this is: all those adventages are only applicable IF you don’t all watch the same spot on the court. That being said: Do you have a blocking foul, a offensive foul ,  a flop or a no call in this case?

Charge block orrr…..

Even with a serious heatwave going on we can never get enough of the eternal discussion: charge/block.   The clip from NL Basketball shows a nice situation, where one could even go for a no call (as some did).
So from your opinion, what are you having here and why??? Please take your time to state the why. That way we can all learn from eachother.
