Soms is het slim om even te wachten met je call voordat je fluit. Wanneer de snelheid, balans an ritme van de aanvaller niet beinvloed worden door het door de verdediger veroorzaakte contact, laat dan alsjeblieft de lucht in de longen, en let the players decide the game! Difficult times come with difficult questions. The real good refs know how many fouls a player have. At least, they always tell me they do. Now imagine this situation, and you know the guy trying to defend the shot is at four fouls. Lees verder “What’s your call?”
Schotpoging ja of nee?
We horen nog wel eens gekke dingen als het gaat om de criteria die er zijn om te beoordelen of iets een act of shooting is ja of nee. Tijd om een halt toe te roepen aan ‘Hij zat nog niet in zijn 2 tellen ritme’ tot ‘hij was niet in de lucht’ en alle onzin (ja sorry, maar de criteria zijn vrij duidelijk) er tussenin. Tijd voor een kleine refresh!
