Alltho the criteria for U fouls are quite clear it sometimes is hard to decide weather to call a normal foul or an unsportsmanlike. After the call for a defensive foul…
We all know (at least I hope 🙂 ) that the whistle for a defensive foul more or less stops play. After the call is made other regular fouls are ignored. Only Unsportsmanlike, Technical or Disqualifying would require a new whistle. Stuff that doesn’t happen very often AFTER the call is made. Unsportsmanlike foul C1
Not everybody is lucky enough to have IRS present to help you make the best call possible. Therefore we need to hustle as a team (2po as well as 3po) to be able to assist on certain plays. The clip shown down here shows a turnover situation where the refs use the help of the IRS to upgrade to an Unsportsmanlike foul. Do you agree??
