Normally spoken one will call more defensive fouls in a game than offensive fouls. People that have lived to see otherwise are kindly invited to share their stories with us 😉
Upon looking back your own games (and who doesn’t do that?) you’ll notice that some calls might have better if you called them the other way. Offensive fouls are difficult. As in all situations: Position is key.
A Little reminder:
1. Contact must occur on the torso
2. Player can move laterally or backwards. (Yes a defender is allowed to move!)
3. Defender should (initially) have two feet on the floor and be facing the opponent
4. Defender must be on the spot first! zijn.
